Low Fat Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients

- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1/3 cup applesauce
- 1 cup splenda sugar substitute
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1/2 cup walnuts or 1/2 cup raisins
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven 350 degrees.
- 2 spray 9x13 inch pan with non stick cooking spray.
- 3 combine and mix all wet ingredients including shortening.
- 4 mix all dry ingredients together.
- 5 add dry ingredients to wet ingredients stirring thouroughly.
- 6 pour into pan and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- 7 let cool.
