Low Fat Oatmeal Bars

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 32
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 1/3 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup splenda sugar substitute
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or 1/2 cup raisins

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven 350 degrees.
  • 2 spray 9x13 inch pan with non stick cooking spray.
  • 3 combine and mix all wet ingredients including shortening.
  • 4 mix all dry ingredients together.
  • 5 add dry ingredients to wet ingredients stirring thouroughly.
  • 6 pour into pan and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • 7 let cool.
