Low Fat Low Calorie Dutch Chocolate Cake

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 3/4 cup non-fat powdered milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups splenda sugar substitute
  • 3/4 cup applesauce
  • 1 cup nonfat milk, plus
  • 2 tablespoons nonfat milk
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 mix all of the dry ingredients together.
  • 2 then add the remaining ingredients.
  • 3 mix with an electric mixer set on low.
  • 4 increase the speed to medium-high and beat for another 3 minutes, (until it lightens).
  • 5 spray a muffin tray with fat free butter flavor pam.
  • 6 pour the batter into the cups and bake at 350 degrees f for 20 minutes.
