Ingredients

- 12 cups popped popcorn
- 4 cups cheerios toasted oat cereal
- 4 cups rice or 4 cups corn chex
- 2 cups dry roasted peanuts
- 1 cup margarine (not butter)
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Recipe
- 1 mix dry ingredients and put in 2 large roasting pans.
- 2 melt margarine over medium heat. add corn syrup and brown sugar. bring to a rolling boil for 6 minutes. you must boil for 6 minutes or syrup will not be the right consistency.
- 3 remove from heat; add baking soda and vanilla. mixture will foam.
- 4 pour over dry mix.
- 5 place both pans in 250 degree oven for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes.
- 6 let cool on waxed paper.
