Low Calorie Boston Clam Chowder

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can clams, about 1 cup drained,save 1/2 cup liquid
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup carrot, diced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 2 cups skim milk
Recipe
- 1 set out a 3 quart saucepan.
- 2 add 1/2 cup clam liquid, onions, carrots, water, salt, pepper& thyme.
- 3 meanwhile cut the clams in half.
- 4 when the veggies are tender put in the clams and gradually add milk.
- 5 stirring all the while.
- 6 simmer 5 minutes.
- 7 garnish with chopped parsley.
