Low Calorie Sweet Potato And Ginger

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 yam
  • 2 apples
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe

  • 1 dice the yams in 1/2 inch cubes and place in boiling water for five minutes or until softened, but still holding their shape.
  • 2 dice the apples, leaving the peel on, in pieces the same size of a little larger. add them to the yams, adn cook three minutes longer until yams are soft and so are the apples, but the apples are not yet mushy.
  • 3 drain the water.
  • 4 mix the brown sugar adn the ginger powder together and sprinkle it over the yams and apples. combine until well mixed. keep warm until served.
