Low Calorie Sweet Potato And Ginger

Ingredients
- 1 yam
- 2 apples
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 pinch salt
Recipe
- 1 dice the yams in 1/2 inch cubes and place in boiling water for five minutes or until softened, but still holding their shape.
- 2 dice the apples, leaving the peel on, in pieces the same size of a little larger. add them to the yams, adn cook three minutes longer until yams are soft and so are the apples, but the apples are not yet mushy.
- 3 drain the water.
- 4 mix the brown sugar adn the ginger powder together and sprinkle it over the yams and apples. combine until well mixed. keep warm until served.
