Southern Made Cream Corn

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 12 fresh ears of corn
  • butter or margarine

Recipe

  • 1 pull shucks and silk off corn and wash thoroughly.
  • 2 take 4 of them and cut kernels off.
  • 3 take remaining corn and leave on cob, grate on a grater into a bowl.
  • 4 pour kernels and creamed corn together in a frying pan and add 3-4 tbsp butter or margarine.
  • 5 heat on med until corn is tender (about 15 minutes).
  • 6 if corn is drying up in pan, add a little more butter.
