Ingredients

- 4 cube steaks
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup lard
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
Recipe
- 1 season meat with garlic, pepper, and salt.
- 2 dip into flour, then eggs, then flour again.
- 3 heat lard in large skillet over medium-high heat. fry steaks on each side for 3-4 minutes.
- 4 gravy recipe.
- 5 pour off all but 2 tablespoons of lard. mix in flour (2tbsp.) with the oil. cook over med. heat and gradually whisk in milk. cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
- 6 add salt and pepper.
- 7 serve over steaks.
