Swiss Pears

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup whipping cream, well chilled
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 (29 ounce) can pears in heavy syrup, drained, reserve 2 1/2 ounces of syrup
  • 4 ounces german cooking chocolate

Recipe

  • 1 whip cream until thick, add sugar and continue to whip until thick.
  • 2 drain pears well.
  • 3 melt chocolate with reserved syrup.
  • 4 put pears in a large bowl, a glass bowl makes a nice presentation.
  • 5 cover pears with whipped cream.
  • 6 cool chocolate mixture, then pour or spoon chocolate carefully over whipped cream.
  • 7 chill well.
