Tomato Salsa

Ingredients
- 16 cups tomatoes, slightly mashed
- 2 cups onions, chopped
- 2 cups green peppers, chopped
- 1 jar jalapeno peppers or 6 -8 jalapeno peppers, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons canning salt
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 dash cumin
- 1 dash marjoram
- 1 tablespoon alum
Recipe
- 1 take skins off tomatoes (put them in boiling water and then in cold water, skins will come off very easily) pour everything in a big cooking pot.
- 2 mix well.
- 3 simmer for 5 minutes.
- 4 pour in pint jars.
- 5 put on two piece canning lids.
- 6 process in hot water bath for 30 minutes.
