Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup hot water
• 1/2 cup baking cocoa
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup melted butter
• confectioners' sugar

Recipe

• 1 combine the first six ingredients in a mixing bowl.
• 2 add egg and butter and mix well.
• 3 bake in a greased 8" square baking pan at 350 degrees or til cake tests done.
• 4 cool and dust with confectioner's sugar.
