- 24 dried figs
- 2 cups green ginger wine
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup clear honey
- whipped cream, to serve
Recipe
- 1 place figs, ginger wine, orange juice and honey in a heavy base (not aluminium) saucepan and bring almost to the boil. reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes until syrupy.
- 2 serve with whipped cream.
